No. You install it yourself in 15 minutes. Connect two wires to your geyser, plug in the power, connect to your WiFi. No sparks. No swearing.
What happens after my 6‑month free trial ends?
You keep basic on/off and WhatsApp alerts for R49 per month, or upgrade to a higher tier to unlock timers, sensors, and security features. Your device does not stop working.
Can I use RoganSecure with a gas geyser?
Yes. Product 2 is designed for gas geysers. The device controls the gas valve via a relay. You set your temperature thresholds and the system fires the gas geyser automatically.
Does RoganSecure work during load shedding?
If your WiFi router is on backup power, yes. If not, the device will reconnect automatically when power returns. The device itself uses very little power.
How do I add extra sensors like PIR or leak detection?
You purchase the sensors separately (any electronics supplier). Connect them to the empty GPIO pins on your RoganSecure box. The dashboard will detect them automatically if you have the right subscription tier.
